Sexual Health Wealth 2025: A New Chapter Begins
Sharper Focus, Deeper Stories: Where Education Meets Empowerment
Born during fiery Leo season, Sexual Health Wealth emerged from my own moment of transformation. I was unemployed, (still) navigating a difficult breakup, and seeking to reignite my spark. As life has shown me before, moments of darkness often bring clarity and purpose.

This platform exists because of a truth I’ve always known: we all deserved better growing up. Better sex education, better relationship tools, and better conversations about intimacy. Whether it’s understanding STI education post-herpes diagnosis or navigating tough dating moments, Sexual Health Wealth shares the insights I wish I had sooner, and many of the ones I’m still learning and living through now.
As I continue my own journey of healing and growth, I’m bringing an updated newsletter format for 2025. One that honors both what is building here and where I dream of taking us next. As part of this evolution, I want to be transparent about how I'm restructuring Sexual Health Wealth's content and why I'm updating different subscription tiers.
What’s Changing in 2025?
Over time, my Sunday newsletters have naturally evolved into deeper, more personal conversations, blending professional insights with raw, honest stories about relationships, healing, and growth.
Starting January 12, 2025, I'm formalizing this approach:
Wednesdays (free): Your essential guide to sexual health, breaking down STI stigma with evidence-based education, exploring cultural conversations about sex and relationships, and staying current on sexual health news that matters. These newsletters will remain free, ensuring everyone has access to clear, trustworthy information.
Sundays ($8/month): Exclusive essays for paid subscribers, diving into personal stories about navigating relationships with herpes, processing heartbreak and rejection, and finding self-acceptance—all paired with professional insights to help you navigate your journey.
What Makes Sunday Essays Different?
As a sex educator with mental health expertise, I bring a unique perspective to these conversations. My professional background and clinical training in sex therapy, combined with ten years of navigating dating and relationships with herpes, allows me to bridge the gap between professional insight and lived experience.
I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed—by diagnosis, dating, and just life. The most meaningful insights often emerge when I connect these lived-realities with professional expertise.

Who’s it for?
For those seeking deeper conversations about living with herpes that go beyond just the facts. These essays resonate most with readers ready to move beyond shame into self-acceptance, and those who appreciate vulnerable conversations about healing and personal growth.
What Readers Are Saying
"Emily is a leading voice for high quality, shame-free sexuality education, and her newsletter is packed with useful information and smart opinions.”
“Your Instagram posts helped me process my long-held hidden shame about my diagnosis, and I mean 8 years long. They helped normalize the conversation and gave me some words and ideas to use when sharing about my status with friends as I finally made it a priority to move past the societal and religious shame into acceptance by saying it out loud.”
Why This Evolution Matters
I'll be honest that I struggled with formalizing this decision. Accessibility isn't just a value for me; it's a core part of why I started this work. That’s why fundamental sex education will always remain free—that’s a promise I make to you. But as this platform has grown, and as I've watched other creators navigate similar paths, I've come to understand that sustainability and accessibility can coexist.
Just as my writing about living with herpes resonated for its raw honesty and emotional depth, my essays about heartbreak and healing have created an unexpected but powerful connection. While Sexual Health Wealth won't become a collection of personal blogs, I've learned that sharing these stories of human connection—the love, loss, healing, and everything in between—creates space for others to feel seen and understood.
